IKS is a community of CMS vendors, end-users, developers and researchers, created with the goal of coordinating and promoting efforts to develop semantic CMS technologies. The IKS community encompasses multiple projects, and provides a collaborative environment for experts in CMS and semantic technologies to share information and pursue common goals.

Regardless of whether you're a CMS vendor, an OSS developer, or a researcher working on applications of semantic technologies, you can contribute to the IKS community and its projects. Becoming a community member is free, and offers the opportunity to connect and share knowledge with acknowledged experts in the semantic CMS community. Support

Funding

Semantic CMS technologies are yet to be widely adopted, and IKS recognizes that it may not be financially viable for small firms to invest significant resources in semantic research and development. IKS funding programs provide financial assistance to community members in return for making time and research commitments to various IKS community projects.

Policies

The IKS community is formed by those companies and individuals who express their interest in contributing to the IKS project and who subsequently do contribute to the project in one of the ways defined in the IKS Community Agreement. The IKS community acts as stakeholder and communal contributor to the development of IKS specifications, methodology and any implementations of the Interactive Knowledge Stack. The contributions of members of the IKS Community are regulated by the IKS Community Policies.
