IKS Survey for Book on Semantic Capabilities of Content Management Systems

Participate in the IKS CMS Survey

As part of a forthcoming book on “Semantic Technologies in CMS” we invite you to take part in this short online survey (25 minutes) to assess the adoption and use of semantic technologies across CMS platforms.

Current CMS benchmarks are very diverse and only few of them give adequate coverage to novel semantic technologies which are being adopted in the market. The European IKS project (“Interactive Knowledge Stack”) aims at bringing semantic technologies to CMS.

IKS the Project: Interactive Knowledge Stack (IKS, www.iks-project.eu) is an Integrating Project part-funded by the European Commission. It will provide an open source technology platform for semantic enhancements to content management systems (CMSs) by 2012.

Purpose of this Survey: The objective of this survey is to evaluate current Content Management Systems with respect to their general coverage of features and in particular with respect to semantic capabilities. These capabilities are based on research done within the IKS project defining requirements for semantic CMS. The survey results will be used in a forthcoming book on CMS technology providers.

Use of Data (1) all survey data is confidential unless participants agree to have them published; (2) survey participants may opt to have their data published in a forthcoming  book on CMS and semantic technologies, (3) participants receive their individual survey assessment, compared with anonymised overall results.

What we ask of you?: The survey will take approx. 25 minutes to complete. With your agreement, we will create a link to the website of your company on the IKS portal after you have completed this survey. Personal contact information is required in case we have any queries or follow-up questions.
