Annual Report on Standards Contribution 2010

The objective of this deliverable is to provide an update on the status of IKS activities and initiatives aimed at supporting the liaisons of the IKS project with standards bodies (and similar). In particular, IKS is currently active in interacting with W3C, OASIS, and Apache.

The initiatives started in the first year of the project have evolved in the second year thanks to research as well as industrial partners’ effort who have been active in this task. It has to be noticed that Apache is a federation of open source projects, not a standard body. However, we report in this document the work conducted in the context of Apache because it involves projects that are often focussed on the implementation of standards being sometimes their reference implementations, hence relevant to standardization activities.
